How to Choose the Facial that’s Best for Your Skin

Different people have different types of skin, and different types of skin need different treatments. Because of the various problems people can have with their skin, we at Suede Salon & Spa offer a variety of rejuvenating and relaxing facials to ensure we can treat everyone as they need. But knowing which one you should get can be hard, especially if it’s your first time booking. For your convenience, here are a few different ways to determine what kind of facial will be best for you.

Anti-Aging Facial
If you’re looking for something to help with aging, facials with a little extra exfoliation, and LED light therapy could be a big help. LED light therapy might sound a little bogus at first, but it can actually help with killing bad bacteria, reducing wrinkling, and promoting collagen production. The bacteria can also leave your skin with a dull appearance, and getting rid of it will give your skin a youthful glow.

Anti-Acne Facial
Struggling with acne? A typical facial then may do more -harm than good. Especially when it comes to sensitive skin, certain lotions and products may trigger a breakout. You’ll want a facial that is catered to this type of skin. If you can’t tell by the facial’s name, you can look at the products that are used during the procedure. An anti-acne or purifying facial should include products with salicylic acid and skin exfoliants.

Classic Facial
A normal, classic facial is perfect for people who don’t have overly oily or otherwise compromised skin. This is why they’re a classic. People with skin conditions like eczema can have their conditions triggered by particular treatments in a classic facial, but they can sometimes be modified to fit the individual. This is a facial for people who don’t experience a lot of problems with their skin but are still looking to treat it well.

Hydrafacial
The hydrafacial is specially designed for people struggling with dry, flakey skin that needs an extra boost. It can be a little similar to microdermabrasion, but it infuses the skin with moisturizing serums on top of cleaning out pores. It should be a non-invasive procedure that leaves you with refreshed, rejuvenated skin. This procedure should be gentle enough to be used on acne-prone skin as well but should be avoided on open spots, as aggravating those areas will cause them to become inflamed.
